California [United States], September 5 (ANI): Uber has introduced a new measure which will make rider rating mandatory.
The changes will go into effect in Australia and New Zealand from September 19, 2018 and will require drivers to provide a minimum average rating to the passengers. As Mashable reports, Uber will alert riders if they are below the requirement.
If a rider drops below the average rating of 4.0, Uber may deactivate their account if they fail to improve after multiple notifications.
Some of the actions resulting in lower rating include drinking alcohol, damaging the car, and breaking laws. (ANI)
