Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], August 19 (ANI): The security forces on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid and gunned down one terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.
The operation is still in progress.
This comes a day after the security forces killed three terrorists and successfully foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district.
Confirming the news, Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir, SP Vaid said via a tweet, "Three terrorists killed by Army while infiltrating in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara today."
On August 9, the security forces gunned down five terrorists in an encounter in the Baramulla district. (ANI)
